News › PAN AM QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT, SATURDAY OCTOBER 13 & 14.

BTA & ITF organize the Pan Am Beach Tennis Championships from November 10-12.   

Aruba can sent 3 teams per category to this event.

During this qualifying tournament the best 3 teams in each category will represent Aruba during the Pan Am 2017.

Categories are:  

Open Men doubles, Open Women doubles & Mix doubles (players need to have an ITF ranking).

Boys doubles 16 & under, Boys doubles 14 & under, Boys doubles 12 & under. 

Girls doubles 16 & under, Girls doubles 14 & under,  Girls 12 & under.

Players have to have a dutch / Aruban passport.

Program :

Friday October 13      > 6 PM - 10 PM, group play adult men & women. 

Saturday October 14  > 9 AM - 11 AM & 5 PM - 10 PM,  elimination rounds adult men & women & mix.

Saturday, October 14 >  5 pm - 8 pm Youth tournament.

Sunday, October 15 > 5 PM - 8 PM Mix doubles single elimination.

Format :

Adults > Group play followed by single elimination. With more than 6 teams it will be single elimination only with the draw based on the ITF ranking.

              Matches are a best out of 3 sets, 3rd set decided by a super tiebreak till 10.

Youth > Group play followed by single elimination. Matches played till 7 with a tie breaker at 6-6.

Location      > BTA Club.

Format        > Group play followed by single elimination, match are played till 7 with a tie breaker at 6-6.

Time frame > 5 PM - 8 PM.
