Due to an increase in the number of active Covid-19 cases, the Aruban government has decided to tighten the restrictions. This is to relieve the pressure on the hospital (Aruba only has 1), but also to prevent countries from issuing negative travel advice for Aruba.
Under the current regulations it is impossible to organize the event. After consultation with the public health department, the tourist board and the government, it has become clear that it is not expected that restrictions concerning events will be relaxed before the end of 2021. This forces us to cancel the BTA-$25K Tournament in November, to prevent people from buying tickets and booking hotels for nothing. Unfortunately, these are the times we currently live in.
