BT10 APRIL RANKING EVENT

The 4Tth BTA Ranking Event of 2024 will take place from Friday April 26 till Sunday April 28. This event features an ITF BT10 men's and women's doubles, a juniors boy and girls doubles tournament, mixed doubles tournament for all levels and finally on Sunday a men's and women's doubles tournament for all levels.Tournament prizes are dinner certificates for winners and medals for all finalists.

All levels mixed doubles tournament

ITF BT10 men's and women's doubles semifinals followed by the finals

All levels men's and women's doubles

 

Register in one of the following categories: 

OPEN - Men's doubles level 1 or lower. Women Pro or lower.        

ADVANCED - Men's level 2 & 3 or lower. ADVANCED women's level 1 & 2 or lower. 

INTERMEDIATE - Men's level 4, 5 & 6 or lower. Women's level 3 & 4 or lower.

BEGINNER- Men's doubles of level 7, 8 & 9 or no (former) league players, and women's doubles teams consisting of lvl 5 & 6 or no league players.

 

Classification is decided by the league doubles level, the highest one counts.

So if a Level 1 teams up with a level 4 they will have to play level 1.

If a player does not play men or women doubles, than the last played league level counts.

Please register in the category of the highest ranked player in the team! Beach Tennis Aruba reserves the right to correct the level in case a team registered too low.

 

 

Registration fee is Afl. 20 per person for members and Afl. 25 for non-members for the adult tournaments, and for the junior tournament it is Afl. 10 for member and Afl. 15 for non-members.

Minimum age for the adullt tournaments is 14 years and at least one of the team members has to be 16 years or older.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for JUNIORS
 
Juniors age 16 & under had to compete in junior doubles on April 20 in order to play this weekend tournament.
 
Starting April 20, 2024, the Junior Doubles Ranking Tournaments took place on a separate Saturday, one week before the Adult Ranking Event.
The tournament used to be played together with the adult mixed doubles tournament on the Saturday of the Ranking Event, but the number of participating junior teams and mixed doubles teams made it very difficult to continue like that. Therefore we decided to give the Juniors a seperate Ranking tournament. This means that players of 14 years and older also can particpate in the mixed doubles tournament during the monthly adult BTA ranking event. However, only players that participated in the Junior tournament are allowed to participate in the adult tournament, and at least one of the players has to be 16 years or older.
This means a BTA Junior ranking will be created for which points can be won at the monthly Junior Ranking Tournaments. This BTA Junior Ranking will be used when Aruba will participate in Junior events, such as the ITF Beach Tennis Pan American Championships.

FRIDAY APRIL 26 LAST DAY TO PAY, only paid registration will be confirmed.

Payments have to be made for the whole team, individual payments will not be accepted.
